How long are the worship services? Typically, our Sunday morning and evening services run about 1 1/2 hours. Sometimes they are shorter, sometimes slightly longer, but on the average about 90 minutes. Wednesday night service will run 1 hour.
What should I expect during the typical service? Expect a miracle! During every worship service we believe for the Spirit of God to appear and touch the lives of God's people.
We do have a format that includes singing and preaching, receiving an offering, and giving people the opportunity to receive Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior. People lift their hands, and they may even shout a healhy "amen" during the message. At times we pray together as a congregation, or have people come forward to receive prayer.
Does Family Worship Center believe I can be forgiven for my bad deeds, no matter what? Yes. The Bible says that "all have sinned and come short of the glory of God" (Romans 3:23). But it also says that "God so loved the world that He gave His only Son, that whoever believes in Him will not perish but have everlasting life" (John 3:16). That includes you.
Does Family Worship Center believe I can "speak in tongues?" Absolutely! The promise of the Holy Spirit and the gift of speaking in an unknown tongue is a Biblical promise to you, and your children (Acts 2:38-39). Three times in the Book of Acts we see believers receive the gift of the Holy Spirit and speak in tongues (Acts 2:1-4, 10:44-46, and 19:6). The Apostle Paul also receive this gift when hands were laid upon him as he states in 1 Corinthians 14:18 "I thank my God I speak with tongues more than you all."

Does Family Worship Center believe God creates devastation, kills people and brings hardship into the lives of people for His divine purposes? No! The Word of God clearly teaches us in the New Testament that every good and perfect gift comes from God (James 1:17). It is Satan (God's enemy that was cast out of heaven) who steals, kills, and destroys. God sent His Son, Jesus Christ to bring abundant life to all of us (John 10:10).
How should I dress for church? Come dressed comfortably and modestly. Some like to wear suits and dresses, others jeans and casual clothing. Dress however you feel you would like. As a pattern, Sunday morning services tend to be a little more "dressier" than Sunday and Wednesday evenings. But don't feel you have to "dress up" to come to church.
How do I become a member of FWC? Family Worship Center has an "open-enrollment" membership policy. You are considered a member if you:
1) Believe and confess that Jesus Christ is your Lord. 2) Attend worship services regularly. 3) Contribute your time, talent, and finances.
Upon meeting these criteria, you are considered a member of Family Worship Center. We will also be having special teaching sessions for new members at different times to help them become more acquainted with the Word of God, our church, and the Christian life.
