At FWCSC, community is more than just a word — it’s our calling. Through scholarships, grants, and our quarterly Sharing is Caring program, we partner with local nonprofits and individuals to lift up our Fort Leonard Wood community. Join us in making a difference!

These numbers tell a story — behind every dollar, there’s a life touched, a family supported, and a connection strengthened.
Here is what we achieved in our 2024-2025 membership year:

This year, FWCSC is raising the bar with a bold new goal: $50,000 in community grants and scholarships. Last year, thanks to the hard work of our members and the generosity of our supporters, we awarded nearly $42,000 back into our community—an achievement we are deeply proud of, but we know there is more we can do.
Every fundraiser, every volunteer hour, and every act of support brings us closer to strengthening our legacy of service and building a brighter future for Fort Leonard Wood families. With your help, we can reach this milestone together and continue to grow our impact in the community.

"Receiving this scholarship through FWCSC has significantly benefitted my education and has allowed me to move forward with my goals. With the scholarship I received I was able to take a summer semester that I otherwise wouldn't have been able to take due to financial constraints. I'm now back on track to graduate in 2027 and cant be more thankful!" ~Deanna K.
“Club Beyond is so thankful for the grant we received from the FWCSC. Summer camp is an important time in a teen’s life; it is a time for them to learn, become more independent, establish new friendships, and, in some cases, develop a better understanding of important issues like life, spirituality, and who they are. And when it comes to military teens, this can be very vital. However, the hard reality is that sometimes, due to financial restraints, some kids are told, “No,” and therefore they can miss out on such a great opportunity for life building and social skills, and instead feel left out. But because of the FWCSC’s great generosity, we were able to tell every military brat this summer at FLW who wanted to go to summer camp, “Yes!”
The amazing time they have, and the impact it will have on their lives for years to come, will be because of organizations like the FWCSC, and we could not be more grateful. Thank You!”

Each quarter, FWCSC selects a local nonprofit or cause as our Sharing is Caring partner. We raise awareness, collect donations, and volunteer our time—all to amplify their mission.
Want to join? See below for our current partner, view their wish list, and donate today!

FWCSC is proud to support Snack in a Pack, ensuring children in our community don’t go hungry over the weekends. Each month, our members volunteer their time to help pack meals that make a real difference for local families.

Through our Hearts in Action program, FWCSC is dedicated to lifting up and supporting our members during times of need. Together, we show that when community means family, no one ever stands alone.

The Waynesville/St. Robert Animal Shelter has been selected as the very our second Sharing is Caring partner of the 2025–2026 FWCSC membership year, and we couldn’t be more honored to work alongside such a vital organization.
From November throughJanuary, FWCSC members will support the Animal Shelter in two key ways: by volunteering at the center and by collecting donations at our membership mixers and from the broader public to help fulfill their wish list. Every item donated and every hour volunteered directly strengthens their ability to continue providing essential services.
This partnership reflects what Sharing is Caring is all about—standing beside local organizations, amplifying their mission, and reminding our community that when we give back, we all grow stronger. Together, we can ensure that the Animal Shelter continues to thrive as a place of care for the furry friends that mean so much to us all.

Bring items with you to the monthly mixer to earn tickets for the Sharing is Caring prize drawing at the end of the quarter!
You can help make a difference for the animal shelter by donating items from their wish list or by making a donation that FWCSC will use to purchase and deliver items for the shelter.
Whether through sponsorship, in-kind giving, volunteering, or simply spreading the word, there are many ways to be part of FWCSC’s mission.
As a 501(c)(4) nonprofit, every contribution helps us grow our impact—and we’d love to partner with you. Explore our sponsorship options or volunteer opportunities to see how you can help write the next chapter in our legacy. You can help make a difference for the center by donating items from their wish list or by making a donation that FWCSC will use to purchase and deliver items for the center. Let’s show our seniors what "when community means family" truly means!
