The applicant must earnestly plan to seek a bachelor’s, associate, or similar degree/diploma from an accredited college, university or vocational technical school. This scholarship is for the applicant who will enroll as a full or part-time student in the Fall of 2026.
Take time to read the letter below from the FWCSC Grants & Scholarship Committee and gather and review all your information needed before you start your application. Incomplete and/or late applications will not be accepted/evaluated by the committee.

This scholarship is open to adult spouses and legal dependent family members of Armed Forces personnel (active duty, Reserves, National Guard, retired US military, surviving spouse, or DoD civilians working at or affiliated with FLW) who plan to enroll part-time or full-time in an accredited college, university, or technical/trade program in Fall 2026.

All scholarship applications will be filled out online using the link below. It is your responsibility to follow-up and make sure that all letters of recommendation (LOR) are completed and submitted in a timely manner on your behalf.

Make sure to provide the link below to the people providing your TWO REQUIRED letters of recommendation (LOR). Letter of recommendation need to come from an official email address to ensure authenticity.
Scholarships are open to the families of active duty, National Guard, Reserve, and retired service members, as well as Department of Defense civilians stationed at, assigned to, or living near Fort Leonard Wood.

FWCSC scholarships consider a combination of factors, which may include academic performance, community involvement, leadership, financial need, and personal goals.
No. Applicants may be enrolled part-time at an accredited school.
Yes! As long as they continue to meet eligibility requirements, past recipients may reapply.
